We were very sad to lose Rock It in early 2021.  He had more impact on our herd than any buck we have ever used.  Rock It was an extremely handsome buck that excelled in the show ring due to his impressive general appearance and breed character, finishing his championship as a 2 year old, but also has the production pedigree to back it up.  Rock It is certainly among the best sons of SGCH J&R Spirit’s Dakota Playboy. 

Rock It’s dam, SGCH DKGH Enferno’s Rose, appraised EX91 VEEE at 7 years old, was a force in the show ring during her prime, and left a lasting impact on our herd through her offspring.

Rock It had a beautiful Nubian head with great ears.  His long neck blended smoothly into an outstanding front end assembly.  He was very strong and level over his back, with plenty of length and levelness to his rump, and stood on strong feet and legs.  He consistently passed these traits on to his daughters along with outstanding udder shape and support.  Leading the list of impressive daughters is SGCH DKGH Rockin’ Eve EX92 EEEE @ 3-04, 2017 ADGA National show 2nd place 2yr old and 2019 National 2nd place/1st udder 4yr old. Other daughters include SGCH DKGH Rock It Erin VG89 VVEE @ 3-03 and SGCH DKGH Rock It Ellie EX90 VVEE 2yr.  Rock It’s full sister SGCH DKGH Playboy’s Rosette EX90 VEEE @ 3-04. His daughters are showing beautiful shape and balance to their mammaries, with extension of the fore udder and high wide rear udders. Size, capacity, and correctness from smoothly blended does with excellent mammaries and a will to milk.

The success of his daughters has earned Rock It a position on the ADGA Elite Sire list.  He now also has many sons showing up on the ADGA Young Sire Development program list.

Rock It will be greatly missed in our herd, but will continue to be used in our herd and others through AI.  Limited semen available.
